| My name is Adriana Carnevale and I was born in Hobart, Tasmania, and have lived here for most of my life. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1994 and have been working as an embroiderer for the past four years. I have always been passionate about fabric, colour, pattern and texture, and have been designing, creating and sewing for many years.
I like to think of each Adriana Bag as an original, wearable work of Art. Each one is unique and individual. The range consists of shoulder bags with one long strap, tote bags with two medium length straps, and flat-based handbags with two short straps. The approximate size of each bag is 24x30cm.
I use vintage fabrics taken from curtains, tablecloths and bed linen, as well as high quality corduroys, cottons and denims. The bags also feature vintage buttons, colourful wooden beads, ribbon trims and an embroidered logo. Each bag is fully lined, washable and some have a plastic insert as a base, for added durability.
Each Adriana bag is a “one of a kind,” and I put lots of love and energy into its creation. I have had so much positive feedback from customers, friends and family, and would like to thank everyone for their support, enthusiasm and encouragement.
I get so much joy and satisfaction from making and selling these bags, and I hope that you love them as much as I do. |
